10 Reasons to have a Home Birth

This does not replace advice from a medical professional. I'm simply one Home Birth Mama who wants to share why I loved my home birth so much! Here are my top 10 reasons, although there are plenty more!

1) Your Turf
- You'll feel more comfortable in your own Home!

2) Your Germs
- No worries of Hospital Germs affecting You or your Baby! You've built, and passed on to your Baby, immunity to the germs in your home.

3) Your Rules
- You can Eat, Drink, Sleep, Move, etc how you want! Your home = Your rules!

4) Your Bed
- You get to sleep in your bed with your pillows & blanket vs a very uncomfortable hospital bed!

5) No Packing
- No need to pack up a hospital bag since you won't be leaving home!

6) No Car Rides
- You won't have to worry about transitioning in the car or trying to deal with contractions while bouncing around!

7) Your Food & Drinks
- You'll be able to eat and drink whatever you want, whenever you want, throughout your entire labor!

8) Everybody Allowed
- You can have anybody and everybody you wish attend your home birth! There's no restrictions on how many people or even how young/old!

9) Cost Effective
- Home Births are statistically cheaper than hospital births!

10) No Fighting Staff
- You won't have to fight off nurses who need to take your vitals at all hours of the night. You won't have to worry about unnecessary testing or even unwanted interventions including vaccinations. Best of all, your chances of having a c-section are drastically diminished!
