Make it Work with Baking Soda

Today's Make it Work is with Baking Soda! On top of using it for baking and keeping your fridge stink free, you can also use Baking Soda quite a few other ways! You can use Baking Soda to:

*Facial Scrub
Mix 3 parts Baking Soda to 1 part Water and rub onto your face, arms, legs, anywhere you want smoother skin! Baking Soda makes a great, gentle & inexpensive exfoliant!

*Take out the Sting
Apply a paste of Baking Soda and Water to insect bites or stings to help calm the itch or pain! Allow the paste to dry fully.

*Soothe
Mix some Baking Soda into your bath to help rejuvenate and soften your skin. We give our children Baking Soda baths whenever they get diaper rashes and it clears them up quickly!
*Foot Spa
Along with using Marbles you can mix some Baking Soda into a tub or large bowl for a great Foot Spa!

*Shine that Oven
Sprinkle some Baking Soda into the bottom of your Oven, spray it with a bit of water and let that soak overnight. Come morning, you'll be able to gently scrub the gunk right out! And it will no longer smell! Rinse well!
*Clean Cloth Diapers
Dissolve 1/2 cup Baking Soda into 2 quarts warm Water and soak the cloth diapers. Throw into wash like usual and they should be smell and stain free!

*Tame the smell
Pour Baking Soda down bath tub, shower, or sink drains/garbage disposals while running the Water to remove smells!

There are a TON MORE uses for Baking Soda which will be continued NEXT TUESDAY so be sure to check back!
